Frequently Asked Questions
How many attend each program?
Currently, with a sole facilitator, we host a maximum of 3 girls per program or experience. Retreat numbers will differ depending on the number or hosts.
Who can attend your programs/experiences?
We welcome all wildflowers - girls, teens, young women, trans-women and non-binary beauties. Although we are targeted towards those with a disability, a formal diagnosis or identity is not required.
Where are you based?
We do not have a specific location - We collaborate with local centres, spaces and schools who host us. Majority of our offerings are held in Geelong, and surrounding Bellarine and Surf Coast.
Do you have a scholarship program?
We are Wildflowers endeavours to make their experiences accessible to all. Therefore we have created a scholarship program available to one participant per term for our social retreat. This is eligible for those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait islander, and who do not currently have access to NDIS or Medicare Health Rebate - Chronic disease management plan. Evidence is not required and based on trusting grounds.
Please feel free to reach out to Polly if you would like to apply and to find out more about the terms and conditions.
How can I pay for this?
There are different ways payments can be made:
If you are an NDIS participant - If you are plan managed or self managed, you can attend a program or experience if your NDIS goals are in alignment with our offerings. We can send you or your plan manager an invoice for the program or experience.
If you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan - You are eligible to access a program or experience (maximum of 5 sessions throughout the calendar year) and claim your rebate back from Medicare using your invoice receipt. You can obtain this plan through consultation with your GP.
Do you have payment plans?
For our Well Girls program - Payments are billed on a fortnightly basis.
For any retreats - A single payment is billed at completion.
Can I attend with my daughter?
